How can emeritus faculty use the library?
Emeritus faculty with an active NetID are welcome to make use of library collections and services, including:
- Our academic search tool, Omni.
- All print and electronic collections, which includes remote access to e-resources.
- MFDs (printing, scanning, photocopying) at no cost - just ask at an information service desk for a temporary winID.
- Scanning requires an email address - there is no USB scanning available.
- Information services.
- Reading rooms.
- Library computers.
Be sure to visit an information service desk during staffed hours to set up an account at no cost. As long as an active NetID is maintained, you do not need to renew your library account. Please contact Queen's IT Services for more information about maintaining an active NetID.
