What do I do if a database or e-resource isn't working?
Technical issues with an e-resource can happen for a variety of reasons, including account expiry, vendor issues, browsers, web proxy, and account status just to name a few. If you think it might be the result of an account or vendor issue, please contact us and include any information that might help us. In the meantime, you can try the following:
- Ensure you're accessing the database through the library's new website (any saved links to the old website will not work).
- If you're off campus, ensure you're properly authenticated through the web proxy.
- Use a different browser.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Update your browser to the latest version.
- Use an incognito window.
