Where do I return library materials?
You are welcome to return materials at service desks at any library location. As long as the materials are regular loans (and not listed as an exception), you can return items to any library location on campus. For example, you can return a Bracken book to Stauffer.
Outdoor return bins are also open 24/7 at all library locations (except the Law Library, which does not have an exterior return bin). The exterior return bins are a good option when you want to return something after hours and library buildings are closed for the night.
Exceptions - the following items must be returned to their home location and cannot be returned to different library locations:
- Reserve items (including technology loans).
- Education kits.
You may also return normal (non-exception) items to any of our 16+ partner institutions in Ontario. To find an up-to-date list of these institutions, visit Collaborative Futures.
